For several years, the mowers we use to maintain the playing field at Memorial Park in Whitefish have been in disrepair and requiring extensive servicing. At the same time we were fortunate to have a mower loaned to us last year from a coach who has now resigned. With this luxury ended, we were forced this spring to emergency purchase a new mower to maintain our field. The purchase of the new mower was negotiated through a local dealer with a large portion of the purchase price loaned to the Twins' organization by a long-time supporter of the program. This new mower is of high quality and should last for many years to come. We are asking our followers to donate funds so that we may repay our supporter as soon as possible. Any donation is welcomed, no matter how small. The money raised here will go directly to help pay for the balance on the new mower & seeder. The Glacier Twins American Legion Baseball program is committed to providing a positive baseball experience for the youth of Whitefish and Columbia Falls while providing an opportunity for personal growth and success involving the learning as well as the integration of lifelong skills and values such as courage, loyalty, commitment, dedication, discipline, a solid work ethic, and a positive attitude. Your commitment to this program directly benefits our local youth and our community. Again, every penny raised here will go directly towards paying for the new mower & seeder for Memorial Field. We deeply appreciate your support! The Glacier Twins are sponsored by American Legion Roosevelt Post 108 in Whitefish and governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors that work tirelessly year round to raise funds and manage an annual budget in excess of $135,000. The Twins are incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with Tax I.D. Number 81-0429681.
