Glacier Twins
P.O. Box 2007 Whitefish, MT 59937 |
Starting out in the early 1960's as the Whitefish Legion Team, the organization struggled financially but thru the herculean efforts of Ed Gallo, changed their name to the Glacier Twins in 1965 to better reflect the composition of players from the cities of Columbia Falls and Whitefish.
The Glacier Twins are co-sponsored by American Legion Roosevelt Post 108 in Whitefish and American Legion Freedom Post 72 in Columbia Falls. They are governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors that work tirelessly year round to raise funds and manage an annual budget approaching $200,000. The Twins are incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with Tax I.D. Number 81-0429681. Glacier Twins American Legion baseball is open to teen-age youth, ages 16 thru 19. Contact any Coach or Board Member for more information. |
